by Lassen
Founded in 2008, by Lassen holds the marketing rights of designers Mogens and Fleming Lassen, the fathers of "Danish modernism" active between the years 30 and 50, they gave birth to some of the masterpieces for which Scandinavian design is known all over the world, including the ML42 stool, THE TIRED MAN armchair and the KUBUS candle holder, designed in 1962 and which in the last 4 years has been the iconic object par excellence of the Scandinavian landscape, being the most photographed object on the magazine BO BEDRE from 2013 to 2017.
The production, made entirely by hand in Denmark, aims to create a harmonious system, making wise use of materials, workmanship, dimensions and perspectives: all together, in fact, furnishing accessories, objects, tables, the whole family of the FRAMES wall containers, have the same construction features: the lacquered steel structure outlines the perimeter of the volume of each object, while the collection develops around a constancy of size relationships that take advantage of the golden ratio concept to maximize an effect of harmony.
OBJECTS, COMPLEMENTS: an unmistakable style, which will develop over time as the company holds the intellectual property of the hundreds of drawings and projects of the brothers, which will be used, reinterpreting them in the light of the new materials and new technologies, in the coming years.
