This fantastic griders come in two dimensions, but they have essentially the same funtionalities: it can grind salt, pepper and spices, due to the ceramic grinder, and has a mechanism which allows to modifiy the thickness of the grinded.

Each Hammershøi item undergoes a long process before being gently packed and shipped off to end up in the home of a design lover, somewhere in the world. Just as many other Kähler designs, the unique ceramic objects are all cast in hand made moulds while the glazing is applied by hand.

This range has become a customer's favourite when they buy tableware and accessories for their home: colors, functionality and design have all contributed to the massive success of the Hammershøi range.

The Hammershøi series is named after the artist Svend Hammershøi, an illustrator, painter and trained potter. He joined Kähler in 1893 and worked at the workshop until his death in 1948. So Svend Hammershøi was the artist attached to Kähler's workshop for the longest time.
