Wall lamp Snowdrop with white paper shade | Le Klint

In 1943 Tage Klint founded the first LE KLINT store in Copenhagen, transformig the family business, working with the blending of lampshades, into a great deal. Nowdays the company has become a modern manufacturing activity, LE KLINT has established itself as one of the most famous brands in Denmark. The activity has mantained its tradition of exclusively working with the main Danish designers for the development of its lamps.

For the Snowdrop design, the talented designer Harrit Sorensen joined forces with Kim Samson, another former student of the Danish Design School. While Sorensen was focused on the functional aspect of the final product, Samson was working on the female aestetics he wanted to recreate in the lamps features. In collaboration with Trio Harrit, Sørensen and Samson have designed a final product line of lamps clearly inspired by the snowdrop flowers. This is an unbelievable evidence of how the handfìcraft tradition can be transformed into a modern design expression.

The Snowdrop series includes 4 sizes for the hanging lamps, the floor lamp, the wall lamp and the table lamp.
