The Le Klint Sax extendable wall lamp inspires a classic look and elegant features. Like an accordion, the lamp can be pulled out and pushed again, depending on where light is needed.
The Sax lamp was designed in 1952 by Erik Hansen, who was looking for an appropriate lamp for the bedroom. He and his wife could not find a lamp with adequate reading light, so Hansen simply built one himself. Today the Sax lamp has become a classic and iconic piece in the Le Klint collection.
The Sax lamp is available in various types of wood. Since 2011, in addition to the original shade of Hansen, the light can also be equipped with the Snowdrop Lampshade specially designed by Harrit Sørensen + Samson for Le Klint. The lampshade can be mounted above or below the telescopic arm.
The lampshade is very decorative, but also guarantees a pleasant light that is not dazzling and diffused, which gives a pleasant family atmosphere to any room.
